Day 21: The 4th Lever
It's like collecting the infinity stones for your ecommerce store, and this is the last one
If the infinity stones were only made up of 4…..
You are now collecting the last stone.
What is it?
Deliverability
This one is easy, but can decide whether email is a part of your marketing or not.
Yeah.
If you have a low deliverability score that can mean your emails go straight to the spam box, and your customers don’t receive your emails.
Which means no revenue is generated for your store.
And most email marketing can generate at least 20% with highs of 45% of total revenue.
If your store is generating $100k a month in revenue and email is one of the channels…..
Expect 20-40k to go missing if your deliverability score drops too low.
Yeah….
So what can we do to keep it up?

Here is an example of a deliverability score from an anonymous store.
And it lays out exactly how to fix deliverability for you:
Open Rate
Click Rate
Bounce Rate
Unsubscribe Rate
Spam Complaint Rate
Now that we know what metrics to follow, the hardest part is changing them for the better.
If you see a low click rate like in the example, the question is:
How do we increase the click rate?
There are multiple ways you can go about doing this, but for attention span sake ( yes your attention span is like a fly ) here are some simple fixes:
Move your CTA button in the email to the top
Text-based emails make the link pop
Segment/clean your lists for campaigns
A/B test content and link/button placement
Being that this is only one metric, there is too much to unpack in this short email.
But something I’ll leave you with if you want to go deeper:
Those are the 4 infinity stones to increasing revenue in your e-commerce store, but I only scratched the surface….
So if you want to know more 1 on 1 reply to this email and we'll setup a call.
Tomorrow we’ll go over a way to generate extra revenue for your store, and this time it doesn’t have to do with email.
Stay tuned 📻
