Day 20: Do You Have Flows?

The most important part to email marketing on autopilot

Do you have them set up?

It’s the easiest way for your business to generate revenue on autopilot.

And requires little to no effort when it’s all set up.

What is it?

Lever 3: Base Flows Firing

What are the base flows?

How much of my revenue should be from flows?

How do I get them set up?

Let’s start with the 1st question here:

The base flows are your automatic firing systems that send emails/sms to your customers when they make an action in the customer journey.

For example:

The “Welcome Flow” sends a welcome message usually with a discount to a new customer that has just signed up for emails.

( PT.1 of the customer journey )

Then when the customer clicks the link in the welcome message, it can go either way:

They buy or they don’t.

Let’s go with the example that they buy:

The customer journey will take them through the post-purchase flow to potentially upsell, and if not it will send the receipt and follow up with their order.

Down the line, if they haven’t bought in a while they will be entered into the “Winback” flow where our email system tries to win back the customer.

This is a series of emails/sms to reengage the customer and potentially earn more revenue.

The best part of all this…..

It’s all automated!

Once set up you don’t have to touch again!!

Now what happens if they don’t buy:

Let’s say they look at our website and leave without taking any action….

BOOM

They just triggered the “Site Abandon” flow and will now be sent an email/sms to reengage the customer with our website.

What if you clicked on a product but then left the website?

BOOM

You just triggered the “Browse Abandonment” flow which sends you a reminder to look at or even buy the item you were just browsing.

Now let’s say you put an item in your cart, but then you got busy on the phone and left it there.

BOOM

We got you covered by sending you an email reminding you of the item in your cart “ Abandoned Checkout” flow.

Now there are still 2 more important flows like the sunset and the VIP flow, but if you just started with the ones I listed, you could build this business to 7 figures!

How much cash should we be making?

Flows should make up about 40-60% of your email marketing revenue.

Yeah, a huge portion, which is why it is so important to set them up correctly.
