Day 2: Exactly How to Make Money From Your Welcome Sequences
We dive into what makes you the revenue from welcome flow emails
“What makes people buy your products?”
“Why would anyone buy from email?”
“How can we maximize profit from an automated email system?”
Before I answer these questions……
Why would anyone want to know the answers to these questions specifically?
Because if you know the answers, you can use them to 1. earn more money for your business and 2. understand what triggers buying behavior in your customers ( again adding more money to your pocket )
Who will benefit:
Ecom Store Owners (DTC)
Copywriters
Advertisers
Marketers
Ok, now that’s out of the way let’s dive in:
“What makes people buy your products?”
This question is super vague and can’t be answered in words alone, it is highly dependent on the data and results of your business.
What I can offer is the psychology behind it, and where you can look to track this metric.
Start by asking yourself what need from the Life-Force 8 your product satisfies.
Once you have this determined, we can now use this as an angle in our welcome sequence to sell our prospects.
The ideal way to sell to an interested prospect on our welcome flow is to paint a mental movie with our words.
What does this look like?
Here’s a look behind a paywall resource I am sharing with you for absolutely free, on a banger welcome email from an Ecom Store.

There is so much to unpack here, that I could write you a 30-day email course on just this. But for the sake of keeping things concise, read the email and watch the images it paints in your head.
Right below their signoff is a plug to their products, which is where they make all their sales. But the important factor is the text that got them there.
“Why would anyone buy from email?”
I think the example answered this question 10 times over.
But for a short and simple answer: Discounts, Connection, and Personalization
Discounts
Most people will join your email list for discounts, buy the product, and leave.
That’s just a fact, but also an important note on human behavior and how we can earn more revenue from them down the line.
Connection
The connection aspect is what us copywriters strive for: relationship-building with our prospects.
It’s the feel that you are buying from a small business in someone’s mom’s house instead of buying from a corporation that works out of a 5 million-dollar factory in Chicago.
Personalization
With the 15 different automated email flows, the first name-calling, and the “just right for them discounts” it feels like the business you buy from knows you.
( And that is a big role in selling more to your list )
Personalize everything, and make it feel like you are a friend offering them the perfect solution instead of “making them buy”.
“How can we maximize profit from an automated email system?”
Understanding the answers to parts 1 and 2, and building specific knowledge-based sequences around them.
All of the questions I’ve asked are super general, and that is why my answers are fairly general.
But that is for the sole fact that everyone’s business is different and these are meant as “blanket answers” to be a general rule of thumb.
The general answer to this question is:
Learning our prospect’s customer journey, how they react to the in-place systems, and how they react when we make changes.
All of this is testing, testing, testing, testing until you get it right!
And then the results vary, and you test some more and then you implement and you get it right.
By this point, you must be flustered with information swirling in your head, so I urge you to 1. Implement these strategies in your business NOW or 2. Hire someone to do it for you, or seek help in implementing these strategies
If you fit with #2 reply to this email and I will get back to you in 60 minutes no less. ( Test me )
If you don’t fit in any of those 2 categories, that means you are most likely using this to learn as a copywriter.
If that’s the case stay tuned for the rest of this 30-day email course, and check out the video that taught me storytelling for writing emails.
