A dummies guide to making money off of your friends if you have 1k or more

You have too many friends.

If you have been running your Shopify store for some time now, you’ve picked up quite a few email addresses.

And if you don’t have an email marketer to do the job for you, you might just be ruining your chances at making any significant kinda money.

Let me explain:

Your email list is comprised of all sorts of “people profiles”.

( Basically just types of people )

The Discount Dealers

  • The people who will steal your welcome discount and leave right away

The Purchaser

  • someone who buys once and never buys again

The Entertainer

  • the person who just reads your emails but never buys

And I could go on with so many more.

You got the idea?

Ok, perfect.

The reason why knowing this is so important is because not everyone wants your emails ( even if they sign up for the list ).

And if you send it to people who don’t want your emails here’s what happens:

  1. They don’t open them or report spam

  2. They think negatively about your brand

  3. Your deliverability and revenue drops

So yeah, we need to send them to the right people otherwise we risk going into the spam folder and Gmail not sending our emails to people who want them!
