If you run a Klayvio account or have any marketing service for your e-commerce store it is likely you’ve seen this option, and been too scared to take it.

That’s because it’s the unknown.

And you're about to learn how easy it is to master.

SMS is simple.

It’s like email, but the major difference is it’s solely promotional.

There will be no brand-building, connection-forming, or any of the email tactics we regularly use.

SMS is strictly for sales, and there is a good reason why.

You have very little room.

Think of getting a text message from a friend, what do you usually read?

The first 2-3 sentences that pop up as a notification.

An email, you can scroll, add cool designs, and include tons of content.

With SMS our job is to sell sell sell.

And if you think that is pushing customers away….

You are right.

SMS has the highest unsubscribe rate so don’t get too attached to the numbers.

But remember when they sign up, they are opting in for these promotions to be sent to them, so it’s not like they don’t want it.

An even better fact to know:

SMS Open Rates are on average 98%

Yeah.

So when you send a message, it has to be a strong one.

Email for example get’s on average 30% open rates!

SMS is powerful, and can contribute to a sizeable portion of revenue if you know how to use it properly.
