A starters guide to learning how SMS can boost your store revenue 8-12%

How to setup SMS on Klayvio:

If it’s not already setup, it will be a big button, and apart of your “setting up account” feature on your dashboard.

Just simply follow the steps to get your toll number in review, and to give you time to build out the flows.

Here are the 3 essential flows for SMS:

  • Welcome

  • Browse Abandonment

  • Checkout/Cart Abandonment

Today we’ll crack into the 1st flow.

SMS is easy, and I’m about to show you how to make easy money with a 2 step flow:

Here’s the trigger and the conditional split you will set up for your welcome flow.

When they are added to the list, we want to separate them from first-time customers and existing.

( It also helps you gauge where your subscribers are coming from so you can personalize the deals )

You will create a simple SMS that reads something like:

Welcome!

Here’s 15% Off your order:

Use code: SKHH1982K

Just use this as a base and expand/personalize for your brand.

You're going to simply have one sent immediately when they sign up, and a second message 7 days later to remind them.

As simple as it may seem:

  1. We don’t want to overwhelm our customers

  2. You’d be amazed how much these simple texts will generate you in revenue

With SMS we don’t get much room, and unsubscribe rates are high.

So we got to work with lower volume, and strong promotional messages to bring in the revenue.

Remember:

Text is perfect for marketing.

The next time our customers check their phones for a text from their crush, we will be popping in there too.

Email they have to manually open to see, but SMS we show up right next to their closest connections.

Use this power wisely.
