- Where are you?
Where are you?
And how do you measure that?
Have you ever felt like you're unsure how far you’ve come?
And it feels like you’ve been at it for a while with very little results to show for it.
If that’s you we’re in the same boat.
About 8 months ago I started researching high-value skills to learn.
This stemmed from the realization that if I wanted to run my own business I would first need to have experience and skills to do so.
It feels like I just started obsessing over marketing and copywriting the other day, but it’s been 8 months.
So what do I have to show for it?
I’ve spent at least an hour daily learning or practicing marketing or copywriting
I dedicated to 2 hours of deep work daily for a long period of time
I’ve read through countless books and have started to apply their teachings
The whole point wasn’t to go over my achievements but to review what I have been doing daily to make this happen.
Because that is what will make the biggest difference.
If you want to track how far you’ve come you need to know you put in the work.
Not just some days, but every day.
Forming small habits is the best way to do this in my experience.
I didn’t start with doing 2 or even 4-hour work sessions, it was:
“ Just read 1 page a day “
and then
“ Just read 1 page a day and apply 1 lesson from it “
and so on.
I’ll leave you with a video if you’ve been feeling lost and want to learn how to grow into something greater than yourself.
