The Consequences to Being a Learning Junkie
Most people don't know what this means, but my bank account has a clear picture
I promised you some KPI’s, so here we go:
Skill Sets: Graphic Design, Copywriting
Results Produced: Very Little for one client ( In progress with this new LTV model for the next )
Money Made: ≈$500
Client Testimonials: None
Happiness: 6/10
As you can see, we’re far from hitting that $1M business.
But the goal is to slowly increase every month and you can see the compounding happen in real time. ( Every month you will see my updated KPI’s )
I’m a learning junkie, and most people don’t know what that means….
When I look in my bank account, it’s usually a lot lower than it’s supposed to be, and it’s usually because of one thing:
Books.
Could be worse, but if you know what having a habit of spending money is like….
Picture this:
It’s 10:00 at night, and you're sitting in your room reading a book on marketing.
*Click*
At that moment you read a page that just connected with you on a deeper level, and all the sudden you have the urge to buy another one of the author’s books.
Magically the author plugs a link to his other book on the next page and….
*Cha-Ching*
(The author just got paid)
But you buy books from this website “Bookathon” all the time, at this point you are on your 17th book from them!
So without thinking you get back into your spot and read the next 5 pages before a noise stops you…
*Ding*
It’s an email from Bookathon, one you’ve never got before.
“ Welcome to our VIP List, Unlock Your Exclusives Inside “
Feeling like Christmas came back around, you grab your phone and hop in that email.
Exclusive deals galore……
“ 25% Off Your Next Book “ “ Buy 1 Book Get 1 Free “ “ Buy 1 Book Get 3 Book Marks for Free" “
Game over for your bank account.
But a massive win for you and your love for books.
This scenario creates a Win-Win for you and Bookathon, they get more of your business and you get the best discounts on your favorite books.
Here is the last part of this model:

Just like in the Bookathon story, you were a known customer.
And these sequences are considered “After Delivery” because they are used to increase revenue from the customers who have already bought.
The Bookathon story goes over just the VIP sequence, but the whole segment targets existing customers and feeds off the interest these prospects have already shown.
In whole this model hits every angle of the customer journey.
The reason it is so effective is because it doesn’t bombard the customer with emails.
It only sends out a sequence due to a trigger the customer hits when they make a certain action within the funnel.
This makes each email specifically relevant to what a customer needs at that time, which creates “perfect scenario” emails to hit their inbox so they can make an action with our brand!
So to tie this thing together, it is the cumulative of these 3 segments that provides 9 opportunities to prompt an upsell which increases Life Time Value of each customer.
Now the more traffic we generate into this funnel, the more of a chance we generate higher revenue.
It’s like a Venus Flytrap, the more flies we get in the more likely were going to eat.
And this is what will cut advertisement spending if we can make back the equivalent or more money on each customer than it was to acquire them, we start seeing a 0 ad spend and profit go way up!
